Dystopian Dreams (event by AYA Films, 2019)

Curate-It is the first app of its kind, facilitating an accessible and collaborative space for curatorial knowledge exchange and training. Encompassing a comprehensive programme on curating film events, and working towards building a community to bridge the gap between producers, filmmakers, distributors, and exhibitors, Curate-It is a values-driven enterprise focused on demystifying and reimagining the film industry.
Maverick Arts has been contracted to support in ongoing project design, development and delivery, and assist in building an international network of industry partners and collaborators.
EDDI READER
Eddi Reader MBE is a world-renowned, Scottish singer-songwriter whose expansive career has spanned genres and collaborations, and now engages with the world of academia.
Maverick Arts is providing logistical support for Eddi’s upcoming 2025 tours, as well as providing research and creative development support to Eddi as she undertakes her PhD research on the impact of Ireland’s cultural revival and migration on the revolutionary undercurrents of Scottish society.

HAVANA GLASGOW FILM FESTIVAL
For 10 years, Glasgow has been home to the UK’s only festival dedicated to celebrating Cuban film & culture.
The past decade has seen a series of socially-impactful programmes transport UK audiences to the vibrant heart of Cuba, and Maverick Arts is proud to be working with them to deliver their 10th Anniversary Festival in November 2025 where we have been contracted to assist on the design and delivery of an international collaboration; general project administration; and media & communications.
